How Centerbase Works

THE ELEMENTS OF CENTERBASE

An overview of Centerbase`s technology architecture and how its elements combine to create a uniquely powerful, yet easy to install and use system.

AVAILABLE FROM ANYWHERE

Centerbase is a client server application: it makes use of a centralized database server that stores customer and company information, accessed by a number of individual users, or clients, who work with and share the data via personal computers.

The Centerbase architecture is designed to be simple to set up, yet flexible and secure.

The architecture makes Centerbase available from any Internet-enabled location: office, remote office, home, or on the road.

YOU HOST OR WE HOST

You can install and run the Centerbase system on your own company computer systems. Alternately, we can run the Centerbase server for you from the Centerbase Corp. centralized data center, with your users connecting remotely to your company`s database.

Both options offer the same full-featured CRM capabilities. Running Centerbase on our servers mean we take care of everything for; you`re up and running quickly, with almost no technology demands (beyond installing client software).

EASY SET UP & CONFIGURATION

If you have a computer running Windows XP, 2000 or 2003 Server, you`re ready to install and use Centerbase.

There is no need for expensive resellers or vendor consultants; even if you have limited IT or technical staff resource, we`re here for you. We deliver our affordable, fixed-price software and support services over the web directly to your server or workstation.

If you plan to use Centerbase from only one location, you can run it as a local application server on your local area network. If your company has many locations, remote offices, home users or traveling laptop users, you can set up a Centerbase server in a central location and permit users to connect from remote locations through the Internet or through VPN Connectivity.

SERVER OPTIONS

Two editions of the Centerbase server are available for purchase -- each designed specifically to meet the needs of different sized user bases:

Centerbase Professional is for companies who will have no more than 20 named users.

Centerbase Enterprise is for businesses that will have more than 20 named users accessing the database.
